The adreko story
It was an idea of Peter Liebetrau to develop a high-quality and legally compliant system for customer data monitoring and control, to uncover address theft and illegal operations.
This idea quickly became a successful concept, which led to the foundation of adreko in 2002. In 2003, adreko took over the control of the movers database of Deutsche Post Address, a joint venture of Deutsche Post and Bertelsmann. Other renowned companies from the mail order and direct marketing sectors were soon added to the references. Soon, however, other industries discovered the "alarm system for your data" for their own customer data.
Today, a flexible service provider has emerged under the now sole shareholders and Peter Liebetrau and Dirk Niedernhöfer, which continues to develop with its customers. adreko supports and advises companies in data and address protection, customer data monitoring, data leakage prevention, quality control and competitive intelligence.
Since January 2012 adreko is a member of the Gesellschaft für Datenschutz und Datensicherheit (GDD) e.V.
